Wayne Estes is an Aggie legend who died too young. While an interesting story, the writing left something to be desired. I give credit to Eleanor Olson, who clearly researched her subject thoroughly, and not leaving out details that make Estes look like less than a hero. In some ways, this book was a case of getting to know your hero too well.
